1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ZipStream.app ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ZipStream.app provides a free API service for creating zip files on-the-fly from multiple URLs. The Service streams files directly from their source URLs into a zip archive without storing files on our servers.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must NOT:

Use the Service to download or distribute copyrighted content without authorization
Use the Service to download or distribute illegal, harmful, or offensive content
Attempt to bypass rate limits or other usage restrictions
Use the Service to access internal or private networks (SSRF attacks)
Overload or interfere with the Service's infrastructure
Use the Service for any commercial purpose without prior written consent
Attempt to reverse engineer or extract the source code of the Service
Use automated systems to make excessive API requests

4. Rate Limits

The Service enforces rate limits to ensure fair usage for all users:

Free Tier: 10 requests per hour, 5 burst requests per 10 minutes

Exceeding these limits will result in temporary rate limiting (HTTP 429 responses). Persistent abuse may result in permanent blocking.

5. Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the URLs you provide to the Service. You must have the right to access and download content from any URL you specify. The Service simply streams content from source URLs and does not verify ownership or licensing of that content.

6. No Warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
The results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable
The quality of any files downloaded through the Service will meet your expectations

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ZIPSTREAM.APP, ITS OPERATORS, AFFILIATES, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill
Service interruption or data loss
Any damages resulting from content downloaded through the Service
Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service (which is zero for free tier users).

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ZipStream.app and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

Your use of the Service
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights

9. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page with the effective date. By continuing to use the Service after changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where the Service operators are located, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
